Consultation has now concluded on Edgecliff Station Upgrade.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback.
Please email projects@transport.nsw.gov.au should you wish to be added to the project mailing list to be kept up to date.
The NSW Government is upgrading Edgecliff Station to make it accessible to all customers.
Transport for NSW sought feedback from the community earlier this year on the proposed station upgrade. Key themes in feedback were general support for the project, especially the installation of lifts to improve accessibility, feedback on locations for kiss and ride, and requests for improvements to bus interchange such as lighting and weather protection to be included in the station upgrade project.
A concept design has now been developed and further assessments have been undertaken in preparation for the planning approval process.
The proposed improvements to Edgecliff Station include:
two new lifts to provide access to provide access to the train platforms and the bus interchange
relocated ticket gates and refurbished escalators to improve the flow of customers
new accessible kiss and ride zone on New McLean Street
new wind break within the bus interchange
improved pedestrian access and safety in the interchange with
introduction of pedestrian crossings.
