Waterfall Way Improvement Program

Consultation has concluded

Waterfall Way is a picturesque 170km road stretching from Raleigh south of Coffs Harbour to Armidale in the New England region.

Waterfall Way has long been recognised as an essential road corridor for agriculture, tourism, transport and the travelling public. It is one of the most scenic drives in the State.

It runs for 170km through some of the most picturesque regions in NSW, including rich lowland farming country, the tourism-friendly and culturally diverse village of Bellingen, through steep mountain ranges and waterfalls to Dorrigo and further west to the university town of Armidale.

The NSW Government’s initial $50 million commitment to improve Waterfall Way has been bolstered by extra funding from the Australian Government’s road safety program. The Federal Government Covid-19 Stimulus is also providing over $37 million funding for work on Waterfall Way.

We encourage you to have your say so we can understand your concerns and preferences.

You can provide feedback by completing the two-question survey below or contact us via phone, email or letter.

All feedback received will be passed to the project team to consider as part of finalising the program of works.
