Respecting the significance of the heritage listed Coal Loader Wharf and precinct, Transport for NSW (Transport) is working with stakeholders on a future use of the wharf that brings together community values and reconnects to the maritime heritage of the area.
This survey seeks to better understand what the community values about the Coal Loader Wharf on the Waverton Peninsula and how the wharf could be used in the future. We will use this feedback along with technical investigationsinto the condition of the structure and stakeholder needs to develop future options for the Coal Loader Wharf. We will share the results of this survey with the communitybefore refining concept designs for further feedback.
