Fifteenth Avenue Upgrade - Property access for survey and investigations

About the project

The Australian and NSW Governments are investing $1.4b to upgrade Fifteenth Avenue between Cowpasture Road and Devonshire Road, widening the road from two lanes to four lanes. Planning and design are progressing to deliver the road widening to improve the most congested section of the corridor.

Why have I received this form?

You have received this form because your property has been identified as a location where surveys or investigations may be needed to support the Fifteenth Avenue Upgrade.

The information collected will help us refine the project design, understand existing site conditions and, where relevant, assess property impacts and land requirements.

Why we need access to your property

Transport for NSW is conducting survey and investigations along Fifteenth Avenue as part of the planning for the Fifteenth Avenue Upgrade. The majority of this work will be in private property.

These investigations help us understand the land and existing conditions along the project corridor.

Property survey work also helps us understand the size, location and features of your property. This information may assist valuers in preparing accurate property valuations if property acquisition is required for the project.

What happens if you provide access

• we will contact you at least 48 hours in advance, unless you have outlined other conditions of entry on your access form.
• work with you to agree on suitable access arrangements
• restore any disturbed areas as close as practical to their original condition.

We may need to access your property more than once. Our field investigation team will carry identification, and property owners or tenants can ask to see identification at any time.
