Have your say - Getting around Fifteenth Avenue in the future - local access and movement changes

The NSW and Australian governments are investing $1b to upgrade the section of Fifteenth between Cowpasture Road and Devonshire Road. The upgrade will make the road easier and safer for everyone to use. Planning has begun.

Fifteenth Avenue will be widened from two to four lanes, with a consistent speed limit. The design is focused on the safety of local communities and all road users, as well as getting you where you need to go sooner. This means some changes to the way you will access Fifteenth Avenue and local streets in the future.

  • Six new traffic light intersections with pedestrian crossings

  • Left in left out only access for all driveways along Fifteenth Avenue

  • Left in and/or left out only access to Fifteenth Avenue for some local roads

  • Removal of access to Fifteenth Avenue for some local roads

  • Safety improvements for people crossing the road, riding bikes or catching public transport.
