In order to improve train services for customers on the south coast, platform extensions are required at a number of stations along this line. This important work will support the introduction of new trains that will provide a new level of comfort and convenience for intercity customers. For more information please visit our New Intercity Fleet page.
Early work started in July 2020, and construction across the stations in this program of work is expected to take up to two years to complete.
We will keep the community informed as we progress construction at each of the project locations. Project updates and notifications to local residents and businesses will be published here on our webpage.
