St Marys Station - Sydney Metro Enabling Work

Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport

Transport for NSW is delivering improvements across the state to create vibrant, productive, liveable and sustainable places that support community health, safety and wellbeing.

To promote future employment growth, support the local population now and into the future, and to improve connections across Greater Western Sydney, St Marys Station and precinct is being renewed.

Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport is the new metro railway line which will service Greater Western Sydney and the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport. The city-shaping project will deliver new stations at the Western Sydney Aerotropolis, the Airport Terminal and Business Park, Luddenham, Orchard Hills, and St Marys, where customers can connect to the existing Sydney Trains suburban T1 Western Line.

St Marys Station

We are completing enabling works at St Marys Station to prepare the site for the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project.

In July, prior to the pause on construction activities in Greater Sydney due to NSW Public Heath Orders, we started investigation and service relocation work inside the rail corridor at St Marys.

These activities have helped us understand what underground infrastructure already exists which will assist in developing constructability details for the project.

Keeping you informed

We will continue to work with the local community to keep you informed about construction activities in your area. Please see the latest Community Notification in the document library on the right.

If you would like to subscribe to our email distribution list, or would like to talk to a project team member about these activities, please contact us by calling 1800 684 490 or emailing projects@transport.nsw.gov.au

Keeping our work sites safe

We are continuing to deliver projects across New South Wales while ensuring the safety of all staff and the community. All work will be carried out in line with current NSW Government Public Health Orders and Restrictions which are subject to change.
