Transport for NSW is seeking community feedback on proposed traffic improvements in your area.

Proposed minor changes on Lawrence Hargrave Drive have been developed following feedback received during consultation in 2021.

These permanent changes would achieve multiple traffic outcomes for all our transport customers, including public transport users, by easing congestion, increasing road safety and improving traffic flow.

The proposal includes:

  • Installing right turn bays into High Street and Wrexham Road, formalising existing informal arrangements and allowing through traffic to flow with improved safety and efficiency.
  • Relocating two southbound parking spaces to the northbound side of Lawrence Hargrave Drive, increasing

These permanent changes would achieve multiple traffic outcomes for all our transport customers, including public transport users, by easing congestion, increasing road safety and improving traffic flow.

The proposal includes:

  • Installing right turn bays into High Street and Wrexham Road, formalising existing informal arrangements and allowing through traffic to flow with improved safety and efficiency.
  • Relocating two southbound parking spaces to the northbound side of Lawrence Hargrave Drive, increasing on-street parking in the area.
  • Relocating the southbound bus stop near High Street about 50 metres north to facilitate the changes detailed above.

All resident access will be safely maintained although there may be some minor changes.
