Between May 2022 and February 2024, Transport for NSW completed accessibility upgrades at Waitara Station. Some of the improvements completed include a new pedestrian underpass, two new lifts, additional CCTV and lighting installed, accessible parking spaces, kiss and ride zone and platform canopy extensions.
