Mamre Road and Kerrs Road intersection improvements
The community is invited to provide feedback on the proposed improvements on Mamre Road and Kerrs Road intersection. Transport for NSW is planning safety improvements at the Mamre Road and Kerrs Road intersection, Mount Vernon. These improvements are part of a the Airport Precinct Safety and Access Program, which is a larger program to make roads safer around the new Western Sydney Airport.
Currently, this a T intersection with no traffic lights and no turning lanes on either of the roads.
Transport proposes to improve this intersection by adding traffic lights, medians and dedicated left and right turn lanes. The proposed traffic lights will enhance safety for all road users, while the new lane arrangements will improve traffic flow through the intersection.
