Transport for NSW are working to integrate the cycleway into the final road design, at the intersection of Anzac Parade and Doncaster Avenue.

The existing shared path design was implemented as an interim measure as we worked towards a final configuration at the intersection.

Extending the separated cycleway through the intersection provides the safest arrangement for all road users in particular people walking and people of all ages riding bikes.

This final design provides a continuous separated cycleway and removes conflict on the existing shared path.

This change will result in the removal of the existing right turn for southbound traffic on Doncaster Avenue into Anzac Parade, refer to project page.

Transport for NSW is proposing improvements to make bus services more efficient and reliable for our passengers.

During peak hours, there is extensive queuing at the intersection of Old South Head Road and Bondi Road. This delays traffic and buses, and weaving traffic also causes safety issues.

As part of the Bus Priority Infrastructure Program, we are seeking feedback on a proposal to extend the third right turn lane on Old South Head Road by 65 metres to create a longer lane for vehicles turning right onto Syd Einfeld Drive.
